Questions before your surgery
For questions about fasting, medications (including blood thinners, diabetes medications and weight-loss injections), previous anaesthetic problems, or anything on this site:

Please include your name, your surgeon’s name, your surgery date and hospital, and the best number to reach you on. Enquiries are usually answered in one to two business days. For anything urgent, please call your surgeon’s office rather than waiting on email. Please do not email in the 24 hours before your surgery — contact your surgeon’s rooms or the hospital directly instead.

Privacy
Email is not a secure medium — please do not send detailed medical records or sensitive documents unless asked. Personal information you provide is used only for the purpose of your anaesthetic care and is handled in accordance with Australian privacy law.
